Our organization works towards planning and launching initiatives that fall under one or more pillars, including Community Conservation, Youth Artist Promotion, Celebration of Diversity, and Global Creative Enrichment.
When TWA first launched in 2021, we began with virtual contests and workshops with the intention of fostering creativity among youth. In 2022, we published our official magazine and started our Artist’s Collection initiative where we collected, promoted, and sold the work of youth artists all over Ontario. At these markets, our goal is to provide young artists with a means of establishing a career out of their passion and inspire citizens to foster creativity in their daily lives.
In 2023, we are focusing on acquiring more opportunities at vendor markets to expand our Artist's Collection initiative and help more marginalized young artists establish a career. Furthermore, we are developing an app called ACE that will bridge the gap between remote and marginalized communities and art opportunities. It is anticipated to be released by June 2024. We are also organizing a major GTA networking event for youth and adults alike to come and expand their knowledge about the arts.
